We need music to be a voice of change again!
-
In each episode, two iconic guitar players—an established icon and a young player—will meet. We will follow them through personal conversations, iconic places, never-before-seen footage, and unique musical experiences.
As our guests interact with each other, they will explore the social issues that have both hurt and defined them. The life experiences of these influential players and political forces of change are openly and unapologetically discussed to provide the viewer with a unique perspective.
Guitar players, raised by the rebels of old, are now aligning their opinions and experiences on the important matters of our days. A chance to bring together the great minds of our time, leading to unexpected yet crucial conclusions and insights about their music and its importance in our world.

“Guitars are back, baby!” is the title of a September 2020 New York Times article on the new guitar era we were living in.
They only grew stronger since then!
Mainstream artists are, once again, counting with guitars to compose, layer and lead chart topping hits as well as to represent their public persona. TV is showing guitars on the limelight as they haven’t for decades, in the same way as artists as Harry Styles and Olivia Rodrigo are proudly carrying their instrument as they tackle issues forbidden to their “Top of the Charts” predecessors.
The latest generations of politically active artists such as Gary Clark Jr., Phoebe Bridgers and Gabriella Wilson can’t - in one way or another - be disconnected from their instruments as even hip hop artists as Post Malone and Ren Gill have helped turn guitars into status symbols. -
Our guests will introduce themselves, allowing viewers to gradually understand who they are and what they stand for. Onscreen, they will be portrayed as real people with insecurities, random thoughts, and quirks.
As we bring our guests together, we will guide viewers through fascinating facts about their stories, guitars, and music, connecting us directly with those places and moments in time. Each episode will feature 3 to 5 locations, all in the same city, depending on the guests and the stories. The formal structure of the show comprises:
A "personal" location, which could be their homes, boats, or any place of personal significance to the guests.
A "public" location, where they walk on the streets, interact with real people, unscripted.
Finally, a "music" location, such as a studio, a theater, or even the subway. This is where the guest and our host will play together, record, create music on camera, or simply reinterpret relevant songs.
